The year ahead for PROTRAINING

Reflecting on 2021

Happy New Year!

While it has been a very busy year for all of the PRO’s at PROTRAINING, 2021 has still felt the ongoing effects from the global pandemic. Many businesses are continuing with the hybrid working model, with many employees juggling the demands of home and work life.

In 2021 we reached a new normal and built upon our learning offerings to support our partners as they navigated their way through the intricacies of hybrid working and the demands that placed on their businesses. We are proud to have worked with clients who truly value the power of development and who continued to invest in their people – be that face to face or virtual, ‘the show’ went on! As such, we are particularly proud to have been part of the fantastic achievements our clients have enjoyed as a result.

PRO’s 2021

At PRO we have been busy meeting many unique requests by designing, creating, tailoring and rolling out a comprehensive suite of international learning and talent development interventions – including simulations supported by a full range of digital learning resources and assets.

The highlight of 2021 perhaps was the increased demand for face to face learning, particularly in the last quarter. The joy of connecting in person cannot be underestimated as both facilitators and their participants all expressed the benefits of the in-person setting.

As we now experience a Q1 temporary rise in virtual deliveries, we are afforded the opportunity to offer truly scalable solutions, enabling delivery to multi-national organisations with global needs and a global audience!

 2022 Trends

Looking ahead into 2022, key trends we are foreseeing:

  • Developing Leaders & Managers to meet the demands of hybrid working and the competing business priorities it brings with it;
  • An increasing demand for developing Emirati Nationals / Emiratisation;
  • Women in Leadership;
  • Transformational Change e.g. Digitisation, Culture, M&A, ‘flipped’ business models;
  • Skills development to support Digitisation / Digital Transformation;
  • Developing talent to lead multi-cultural / multi-disciplined teams across a Global and increasingly virtual setting;
  • Employee Health & Wellbeing;
  • Increased skills development / Saudisation to meet KSA’s Vision2030 goals.

All eyes are on the Gulf region at the moment, so there will be plenty of business and networking opportunities with Expo 2020 in Dubai and then the FIFA World Cup hosted in Qatar towards the end of the year.

As ever, our focus for 2022 will be providing impactful and sustainable learning solutions to our clients and partners both new & current, and as part of this we are planning a number of initiatives that will have specific emphasis on value-added services, impact assessments, fully customised solutions and thought leadership networking events.

We look forward to partnering with you throughout 2022 and beyond.

Sincerely,

Patricia O’Sullivan
Managing Partner
